Parents

Absence from School

If your child is going to be absent from school due to illness, please contact Mrs Duff that day. For sickness and/or diarrhoea, a strict 48 hour infection control period from the last occurrence, must be observed before your child returns. If your child is ill, then school is not the place for them!

Permission to remove children for family holidays must be done in writing to the Headteacher. All such absences are unauthorised and no work is provided for your child - it is understood that they will fall behind. This is as per Perth and Kinross policy.

The school is legally obliged to contact parents to find out reasons for non-attendance, so please help us by ensuring all contact numbers are correct and make sure you do make first contact if your child is going to be absent.

A note - it could be an email- must be brought following your child's return, for our records, even if staff are aware of this.

 School meals price increase.

Please be aware that school meal prices increase to £2.15 (£2.30 in secondary),starting from 17 April. This increase was approved at the Special Council meeting on 22 February.

This charge applies to nursery, primary 4 to primary 7 and secondary pupils unless registered for free meals.

All pupils in Nursery - primary 3 are entitled to receive the school lunch free of charge.

Please remember you can pay online for school meals and I’d encourage you to do so as this supports the school.
